Camp AsimovCAMP ASIMOV

FAQ

Who is this for?

Camp Asimov is built for students who want serious engineering growth in a high-intensity environment, including students already building or competing in robotics and beginners ready for full-day technical work.

How selective is Camp Asimov?

Cohorts are intentionally capped at 16 students to preserve high mentor access, technical rigor, and build quality.

Where is it and what are the hours?

Camp runs Mon–Fri, 9:00–3:30 at our Los Angeles location (final site announced after enrollment). Early drop 8:30 and late pickup until 4:00 are available.

Is it right for beginners?

Yes, for beginners who are ready for full-day technical effort, daily feedback, and disciplined build work. We group by age and experience and coach students up quickly.

How do cohort caps work?

Each founding cohort is capped at 16 students. We keep cohorts small by design to protect mentoring quality and technical output.

What do students bring and wear?

Bring lunch daily, plus closed-toe shoes, hair tied back, no dangling jewelry, and a labeled water bottle. We supply all tools, materials, and safety gear.

What is your teacher-to-student ratio?

We target a 1:8 teacher-to-student ratio, with additional mentors during machine and testing blocks.

How do you handle allergies and medications?

Tell us on the Founding Cohort Interest Form. Students may carry epi-pens/inhalers; staff are briefed and we maintain a posted response plan. We discourage food sharing.

What if Camp Asimov does not move forward with a session?

If Camp Asimov does not move forward with a session, all paid deposits will be fully refunded within 5 business days.
